Lace Wingz set

I’ve been keeping a close eye on the Paris catwalks this week and it was all smiles when I saw some of the lace that adorned the models. Lace is such a feminine fabric, so versatile, and it looks good with everything from the most elegant wedding dress to a bit of black lace on a rock chick ensemble.

Chanel clearly agreed – featuring delicate lace sleeves in their 2015 pre-Spring/Summer ready to wear collection.

The whole of the Chanel collection was adorably feminine, featuring pastel pinks, blues and white along with lace touches everywhere; intricate lace leggings under layered monochrome belted tops with lace sleeves to match; and an evening gown with black lace slouch sleeves and stunning detailing.

Burberry London are rocking the lace sleeves with their Lace Stacey Top, a snip at just £425 – or you can recreate the look yourself with a simple , classic vest top and a pair of lace full sleeve Wingz. Pick up a vest from Next (£12 for three) and sleeves for just £18.99 and you’ve saved yourself around £400!

Burberry Stacey Another cute look that’s easy to recreate is the skater dress with contrasting lace sleeves. There are quite a few examples of this look around at the moment, we put this one together using a fit and flare dress from House of Fraser, currently on sale at £21, and black half sleeve Wingz for £16.99. Don’t forget you can team the Wingz up with so many more outfits that they aren’t just a one-off outfit decision.

What do you think? Will you be following the lace sleeves trend in 2015?
