As the skies are turning to a grey colour, the chill of autumn has started to bite and everyone is looking for ways to brighten up the gloomy days.
Well, bring on the blue!
Back in February, the catwalks were crammed full of gorgeous royal blue, a shade that suits most skin tones and adds a touch of zing to any wardrobe.
Wearing top to toe royal blue takes a certain amount of daring, but if you normally suit jewel tones and have strong colouring, you can pull it off without looking washed out. If you’re paler, try adding blue as an accent piece. We’ve mainly coordinated it with black here, but as a rule, it also coordinates well with yellow, coral, turquoise, and teal, sky blue, mint and pink. Go on, give it a try!

Cara Delavigne set the trend early on in a boyish two piece that probably only she could carry off so effortlessly, but if you want to dip your toe into the blue trend, you could start with a pair of funky royal blue Wingz to contrast with a black or grey sleeveless top; or go the whole way and add some sass to a blue top or dress with a pair of matching sleeves.

If you’re looking for a way to add some blue to your life without overdoing it, you can add a pair of black Wingz to a sleeveless blue top, or a vest tip even, and a pair of skinny jeans, to break up the block of colour the other way around.

You could add some stretch black Wingz to this outfit seen on the ASOS website, and they would look fabulous, or swap the leather trousers for black jeans for a similar style. The cute Jacquard Notch Neck top is from Warehouse.
However you wear royal blue, do it in style! And if you jazz your outfit up with a pair of Wingz, please send us an image on our Facebook page and you’ll earn yourself a 50% discount on another pair.
