terrible christmas gifts wingz

Just because it’s that time of the year, we thought we’d have a bit of fun and look at the worst Christmas presents EVER. Terrible Christmas gifts come in all shapes and sizes, and we’re sure you can remember some truly awful gift choices. Sometimes it’s easier to remember those than the great ones!

Personally, my all-time low was when I was about nine years of age. My parents had a tradition of trying to make the present opening last as long as possible, so we would open one present at a time from under the tree. Stocking presents were a free for all and opened as soon as we were allowed into our parents’ bedroom, where they’d been hung to keep excited children from opening them at 3am.

So one year, I’d been pestering to open another present, and I was given the go-ahead. Excitedly, I reached for the one that looked most likely to contain a colouring book, pens or something fun to do. Imagine my utter dismay when I realised it was a set of pants and vest from my aunt. The look on my little face made my parents laugh so much they had to let me have another one.

These days, underwear is something most of us would LOVE to receive under the Christmas tree, although a vest and pants set probably isn’t at the top of anyone’s list.

If lingerie is on your list, there’s still time to point your beloved at this helpful lingerie buying guide for men:

(we assume if your partner is female, she’ll know how to measure a bra size or knows the difference between a push up bra, balconette and a longline…) Top lingerie tips for 2017 include lace (it’s everywhere this season) and especially pretty lacy shape wear.

Wingz launched their iconic lace sleeves in a new design in 2016, so if you want to carry on the lace trend to outerwear, you can keep your arms beautifully covered with black or white lace Wingz this Christmas.

Meanwhile, what else tops the list of terrible Christmas gifts?
